5 Weird Things

Well, I consider myself lucky to have to reveal my 5 weird spots. Nehh...ndry?

Only one thing that bothers me though, why only 5?

So here they are, 5 weird things about me:

1. Whenever possible, I can be absolutely picky when it comes to food.
One famous example: I have different preferences for egg, depending on how it is done. I only eat the white egg of boiled egg. For un oeuf plat or telur mata sapi or fried egg, I'll eat the egg yolk, only if it's half cooked. Meanwhile, the white egg should not be burned nor crunchy. For omelette, I only eat the outer part, the crunchy side, not the middle part.

2. I am obsessed with clean public toilet.
I guess it's just a part of my clean-freakiness. I don't mind paying 2 CHF for a clean public toilet (I love you Mr. Clean), and I can be easily impressed by any clean public toliet. I believe that clean public toilet is a sign of clean country, town, or society. :)

3. When I read a book, I read the ending first or after few chapters.
I know it's a shameful thing to do, but I just can't help it! I don't have enough patience whatsoever. Besides, I'll know if a book is a good one when it is able to persuade me not to read the ending before I am supposed to. A good book will capture my heart and soul, and make me eager to follow the ride and not taking the short cut.

But it doesn't mean that I will not finish the book after I read the ending. I will read back again, knowing the ending already, and finish it like a good school girl.

4. I am a mono-maniac.
When I like something, I really like it. I read Harry Potter at least 3 times for each volume in 3 different languages. My favorite books have been read more than 10 times. My favorite movies have been watched more than 10 times, and I even remember the lines!

Unfortunately, this also means that I don't like to try something new. I will stick to the same author, the same food, the same place, the same restaurant, etc.

5. I am verbally and physically expressive.
Telling a story sometimes can become a solo performance in my case. I'll make noises, gestures, faces, mimicries while doing the story-telling. It's fun to watch and for this some people consider me as funny. But sometimes it makes me look stupid.

Of course I looked stupid when, in my frustation of french vocabulary gap, I described canard as quink quink (with flapping gesture)!

Whose weirdness I wish to read? Definetely naga, wira, macchi, and silverlines. :)

  • Oh dear ... now I have a homework to do. Speaking about weird things, I guess it is as difficult for me to reveal 5 normal things hehehe ...

PS: I hope being crazy for clean toilet is not one of the reason you moved out from our beloved homecountry ;-)

  • Silverlines : so what do we do now we're in the same boat? Ever heard of the Pitcairns mutineers (otherwise, google it) they inspired me - you know what they say, desperate time requires desperate measures.

  • hello, are guests welcome ?
Talking `bout weird things: Usually I read the first page of a book. I`m not so sure if this decides if I read it but it definitely decides that I don`t read it.
I`m talking very much and, this is much worse, a little unstructured, without working a story to the climax, more intuitive, how it comes out...
what often creates problems and its not getting better while I`m getting older, maybe I get more and more stubborn so when I have to figure something out( worst case via Mail )the other gets into trouble working out what I want...but I think usually the people are too lazy to work on it, so they misunderstand...
I wear my shirts till their almost vanished or get destroyed but some washing machine.
Since 1993 I write bad poetry with no real story and its getting bigger and bigger. It`s like more and more children are getting born and no one knows why or what for ( except to love etc...).

    happy times

    Silverlines: It's tough love honey..hihi, I care that's why I ask. :D

My obesession on clean public toilet did not push me to go away from our beloved country, but it is, indeed, one of the main reason why I love Geneve so much. It's just so clean here!

    Ronald: My oh my...you are unique...hihihi. :)
